Platelet alloimmunization.

NAIT: neonatal alloimmune thrombocytopenia; HPA: human platelet antigen; MACE: modified antigen capture enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay; ELISA: enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay; MAIPA: monoclonal antibody immobilization of platelet antigens.
¶ Examples of sensitive assays include MACE and MAIPA.
