Migration of pulmonary artery catheter on x-ray

Following placement of a pulmonary artery catheter, an x-ray shows the tip (arrowhead) positioned near the origin of the descending right pulmonary artery about 3.4 cm from the midline. Image B is a follow-up examination and shows migration of the tip of the catheter (arrowhead) into the medial basal segmental artery. It is just over 5 cm from the midline.
