Renal agenesis in females with ectopic ureter and müllerian abnormalities

Mechanism of apparent "renal agenesis" in females with unsuspected müllerian abnormalities, consisting of a duplex vagina and uterus with a left-obstructed hemivagina and an ipsilateral ectopic dysplastic kidney with an ectopic ureter insertion to the obstructed hemivagina. Note that the normal right kidney has compensatory hypertrophy.
