Segmental infantile hemangioma of the head and neck

Segmental hemangiomas are usually plaque like and demonstrate a linear and/or geographic presence over a specific cutaneous territory. Infants with segmental hemangiomas of the head and neck should also be evaluated for PHACE syndrome.

PHACE: posterior fossa anomalies, hemangioma, arterial anomalies, cardiac anomalies, and eye anomalies.
