Vereckei algorithm for the diagnosis of ventricular tachycardia (VT) or supraventricular tachycardia (SVT) in a patient with wide QRS complex tachycardia

Vereckei algorithm for the diagnosis of ventricular tachycardia (VT) or supraventricular tachycardia (SVT) in a patient with wide QRS complex tachycardia
Vereckei algorithm for the diagnosis of wide complex tachycardias. In step 4, Vi represents the magnitude of voltage change in the initial 40 milliseconds of the QRS complex, while Vt represents the magnitude of voltage change in the terminal 40 milliseconds of the QRS complex. The initial Vi and terminal Vt voltages should be measured from the same biphasic or multiphasic QRS complex.
A-V: atrio-ventricular; BBB: bundle branch block; FB: fascicular block; SVT: supraventricular tachycardia; VT: ventricular tachycardia.
