Mitral stenosis

Electrocardiogram and phonocardiogram of mitral stenosis as heard at the base. Following S2 (aortic and pulmonic valve closure) is the opening of the stenotic mitral valve (snap) and a low pitched, faint middiastolic murmur of mitral stenosis.
