A majority of galactoceles are cystic or multicystic, as in this case, but they may also be mixed cystic/solid or, occasionally, solid^[1,2]. Needle aspiration demonstrating the characteristic milky contents confirms the diagnosis of galactocele and excludes malignancy; it is also an effective treatment in most patients with galactoceles.
