Electrocardiogram showing inverted U waves superimposed on the end of the T waves (arrows) in the lateral precordial leads. This finding is most often a subtle sign of ischemia and/or hypertrophy (note the prominent R in V5). An unrelated complete right bundle branch block is also present (rSR' in lead V1 with prolonged QRS interval).
