IgM deposits in mixed cryoglobulinemia

Immunofluorescence microscopy showing almost pathognomonic diffuse deposition of IgM in the capillary loops in mixed cryoglobulinemia. The subendothelial location of these deposits is suggested by the relatively smooth outer portions (arrows) due to their pressing against the inner aspect of the glomerular basement membrane.
