Comparison of survival of peritoneal dialysis patients with high- and low-transport characteristics
Comparison of survival of peritoneal dialysis patients with high- and low-transport characteristics
Survival on PD (patients censored at transplant or transfer to hemodialysis), according to transport category at the start of treatment in two cohorts commencing between (panel A) 1990 to 1997, n = 320, and (panel B) 1998 to 2005, n = 300. In the first cohort, transport category was significantly (p = 0.009) associated with survival, whereas, in the second, this was not the case due to an improvement in the survival of high-transport patients.
