Diagnoses of HIV infection among persons aged 13 years and older, by gender and age group, 2019 — United States and 6 dependent areas

Data include persons diagnosed with HIV infection regardless of stage of disease at diagnosis. Transgender MTF includes individuals who were assigned male sex at birth but have ever identified as female gender. Transgender FTM includes individuals who were assigned female sex at birth but have ever identified as male gender. Other gender identities are not included, due to small numbers.
