Survival is reduced with an idiopathic restrictive cardiomyopathy

Kaplan-Meier survival curves in 94 patients with an idiopathic restrictive cardiomyopathy and in an age- and sex-matched control group (expected) show survival with a restrictive cardiomyopathy at 5 (64% versus 85% expected) and 10 years (37% versus 70%, p<0.0001).
