ANSWER —

Incorrect.

Duloxetine is an effective treatment for neuropathic pain and is also an effective antidepressant. It has a relatively rapid onset of action. Side effects include nausea, sleepiness, dizziness, constipation, dry mouth, increased sweating, decreased appetite, and fatigue. The side-effect profile is less favorable than that of nortriptyline in this young woman with depression.
