Scoring different leg movements (LMs) in a periodic limb movements of sleep (PLMS) series

In this schematic of the anterior tibialis EMG channels of a PSG, the first 2 LMs are counted as 1 LM since the time from onset to onset of the LMs in the left anterior tibial EMG channel (LAT) and right anterior tibial EMG channel (RAT) is less than 5 seconds. The period length to the next LM is measured from the onset of the first LM in the group considered to be a single LM.
