Longitudinal sections

(A) AP medial view; (B) posterior view; (C) posterior view: Longitudinal sections show right thigh enlargement with fluid collection and scattered air pockets within vastus lateralis. There was extensive involvement from the lesser trochanter down to the left knee joint level.
