Evaluation of a child for permanent versus transient primary congenital hypothyroidism

This algorithm describes the reevaluation during early childhood for a child with primary CH to determine if the condition is permanent. Reevaluation is rarely needed for children with central hypothyroidism because it is almost always permanent.
