Myxopapillary ependymoma with leptomeningeal seeding

Sagittal T2 (A) and postcontrast T1-weighted (B) MRI of the entire spine shows extensive myxopapillary ependyma that fills the central canal from L3 to sacrum (thick arrow) and is associated with scalloping of the posterior lumbar vertebral bodies, consistent with dural ectasia. Enhancing leptomeningeal deposits of ependymoma (arrows) compress the spinal cord.
