BUN: blood urea nitrogen; PT: prothrombin time; INR: international normalized ratio; PTT: partial thromboplastin time; HLA: human leukocyte antigen; IgG: immunoglobulin G; IgM: immunoglobulin M; HPV: human papillomavirus; COVID-19: coronavirus disease 2019.

* At most transplant centers, proof of SARS-COV-2 vaccination or prior COVID-19 infection is required for the patient to be active on the waiting list. A COVID-19 polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test is typically performed when the patient presents for transplant surgery.

¶ Testing varies among centers based on geographic location or clinical history. As an example, some centers may only assess Coccidioides serology in patients who have resided in the southwestern United States.
