Characteristic clinical and pathologic features of Hutchinson-Gilford progeria syndrome.
(A) Overall body appearance and sclerotic skin in 3 month old.
(B) Joint stiffness.
(C) Distinct craniofacial characteristics in 2 year old.
(D) Small ear lobe.
(E) Distinct "protuberant soft nipples" in 6 month old.
(F) Alopecia and prominent scalp veins.
(G) "Protuberant soft labium majus" in 4 month old.
(H) The histopathologic findings revealed dermal collagen hyperplasia and perivascular, lymphocytic infiltration (H&E stain ×100).
H&E: hematoxylin and eosin.
