Age-specific incidence rates for the first kidney stone event were calculated using data from 3 large cohort studies: Health Professionals Follow-Up Study (HPFS)[1], Nurses' Health Study I (NHS I)[2], and Nurses' Health Study II (NHS II)[3]. A total of 8262 cases were confirmed among over 250,000 participants followed for up to 30 years.
