Ileocolic approach to right colectomy

We standardly perform minimally invasive right colectomy or extended right colectomy using a medial-to-lateral approach. The vascular dissection may begin at the ileocolic pedicle or over the superior mesenteric vein. The ileocolic approach is shown in this video.
