Lateral plain radiograph of minimally displaced nasal fracture
Lateral plain radiograph of minimally displaced nasal fracture
Imaging is not necessary for the most children with isolated nasal trauma. This plain radiograph was taken during the follow-up specialty visit because a displaced fracture was suspected but not clearly evident on physical examination. It shows minimal displacement of the nasal bone (arrow).
