Current (past 30 days) tobacco product use among high school students (NYTS, 2011-2024)
Changes in survey methodology may affect the comparability of results with prior years. In 2019, data collection included a new electronic mode of survey administration and presentation of tobacco images. In 2020, data collection was terminated early due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2021, many students participated in distance learning, so survey questionnaires were administered both remotely and in school settings.

COVID-19: coronavirus disease 2019; NYTS: National Youth Tobacco Survey.
