Severe digital ischemia in systemic sclerosis treated with amputation
Postoperative image 6 weeks following fingertip amputation at the DIP joint level performed for severe fingertip ischemia. Postsurgical wound healing was delayed due to poor vascular supply, as evidenced by the persistent scab on the radial aspect of the fingertip this many weeks after surgery.
