Tompkins metroplasty

Tompkins metroplasty for septate uterus. The uterus is incised in the midline anterior-posterior plane until the uterine cavity is reached. The bilateral cavities are then unroofed, using sharp dissection, and the uterus is then closed. The resultant uterine cavity is larger than with wedge resection of the septum.
