Covered endovascular reconstruction of the aortic bifurcation
The images demonstrate CERAB. The patient presented with bilateral disabling claudication. The arteriogram shows severe aortoiliac disease with bilateral common iliac artery stenoses (arrows; A) and a midaortic stenosis (B). A cuff was first placed into the aorta above the bifurcation (arrowhead; C), followed by placement of bilateral stent-grafts into the common iliac arteries in a kissing fashion (small arrows; C). Completion arteriography shows a widely patent aorta with patent runoff bilaterally (D).
