Airway exchange catheter

The AEC consists of a hollow tube with a distal end and side holes and a proximal connector that allow administration of oxygen. It is inserted into an existing endotracheal tube, after which the existing tube is removed. The AEC is used as a stylet to guide reinsertion of a replacement tube.
