Upper extremity fasciotomy using separated incisions

The pictures show one approach to forearm and hand fasciotomy using separated incisions. The planned incisions are shown with the hand supinated and pronated (A, B, C). Using the forearm radial incision, the volar superficial and deep compartments, as well as the mobile wad, were released (D). Care was taken not to injure the neurovascular bundle (asterisk) containing the radial artery and superficial branch of the radial nerve.
