The images illustrate a case of upper extremity compartment syndrome caused by an electrical injury. There was a burn on the ulnar side of the forearm, and swelling was observed from the upper arm to the hand (A,B). Fasciotomy was performed for all the affected compartments (C), including the anterior compartment of the arm; the volar, dorsal, and mobile wad compartments of the forearm; and the thenar, hypothenar, adductor, interosseous, and carpal tunnel compartments of the hand.
