ICS/LABA: inhaled corticosteroid/long-acting beta-agonists; NSAID: nonsteroidal antiinflammatory drug.

* These are the two common low-dose tablets of aspirin available around the world.

¶ The protocol is continued, even if the patient develops symptoms. The patients who most commonly develop symptoms are those with AERD. The additional dose at the end of the procedure typically does not cause further symptoms, demonstrating that the patient is desensitized.
