Prone foam head support

This is an example of a foam support for the patient's head in the prone position. The T shaped opening is designed to allow the eyes and nose to be free. The headrest is placed over the patient's face while supine, making sure that the eyes and nose are free in the respective openings in the device, and turned in place. The endotracheal tube is positioned so that it sits within the opening on the side (left side in this photo).
