This picture demonstrates condylomata acuminata of the right vaginal wall and posterior fourchette in a prepubertal child caused by human papilloma virus. Transmission may be sexual or nonsexual. Consultation with a child abuse specialist is warranted to determine the need for further evaluation for sexual abuse.
