Gray-scale and color Doppler ultrasound of fetal gastroschisis

(A) The abdominal wall defect can be seen adjacent to the cord insertion site. There is loss of continuity of the abdominal skin line where the bowel protrudes through the abdominal wall defect.
(B) Color Doppler shows umbilical vessels/cord adjacent to the abdominal wall defect and herniated abdominal organs.
