Cardiac computed tomography disc summation method

Cardiac computed tomography short axis slices from base to apex at end-diastole and end-systole. The left ventricular endocardial cavity is traced on each short axis view at end-diastole and end-systole to calculate ventricular volumes and the left ventricular ejection fraction using the summation of discs method.
