Cardiac magnetic resonance disc summation method

Cardiac magnetic resonance images in four- and two-chamber views showing positions of short axis slices from base to apex. The left ventricular endocardial cavity is traced on each short axis view at end-diastole and end-systole to calculate the left ventricular ejection fraction using the summation of discs method.
