Imaging features of IDH-mutant, 1p/19q-codeleted oligodendroglioma, grade 3
42-year-old male with an IDH-mutant, 1p/19q-codeleted, grade 3 oligodendroglioma. (A) Noncontrast CT shows hyperdense calcification (arrow) within a faintly-hypodense mass in the white matter of the right frontal operculum. Transverse-axial FLAIR (B) and T2-weighted (C) MR images show an ill-defined, infiltrative, hyperintense mass centered in white matter but extending to cortex. Hypointense signal in the center of mass (arrow), better demonstrated on T2*-weighted gradient-echo imaging (D), corresponds to tumoral calcification. (E) Faint contrast enhancement is visualized on postcontrast T1-weighted imaging (arrowheads).
